The Program Intern will collaborate with YMF’s current Program Directors and Program Coordinator in the day-to-day administration of YMF’s Teaching Artist Program in preparation for fall programming, gaining experience in a fast-paced music education non-profit.
Intern should have a background in education and knowledge of music notation. Successful applicants will possess a high level of organizational, multitasking, and office suite skills. They will also have an interest in researching student learning outcomes in education.
This is a temporary, 3-month, full-time paid position to be completed June 3, 2019 - August 23, 2019. Pay is $14.25/hr.
2019 Arts Internship positions will be open to currently enrolled undergraduate (2 or 4-year) college students who reside or attend college in Los Angeles County. Recent graduates may apply as long as they have completed their degree between May 1 - September 1, 2019.
Students who are invited to participate in the program will be asked to provide verification of eligibility via college transcripts, driver’s license and other documents to show enrollment status and/or LA County residence.
There are no exceptions to our eligibility requirements.
