Marta Olson is an accomplished alumna of the Thornton School of Music where she studied voice. Marta spent the last year founding the music program at KIPP Excelencia Community Prep in the Bay Area and she is thrilled to continue her work with children in Los Angeles. In addition to her passion for music education, Ms. Olson loves world languages and can be seen performing her own arrangements of songs in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and French throughout the city of Los Angeles. During the course of her career, she has had the opportunity to participate with ensembles such as the San Francisco Symphony Chorus and the USC Chamber singers and sing under the baton of James Conlon, Simon Carrington, Helmuth Rilling, Eric Whitacre and Morten Lauridsen. Other notable performances include singing back-up vocals for the Rolling Stones on their 50 and Counting Tour and for Barry Manilow at L.A Live.
