Jacqueline Marshall

Jacqueline Marshall has been playing the harp since age 7, and has performed at venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl.  She has held the position of Principal Harpist in several orchestras, including YMF’s Debut Orchestra and the UCLA Philharmonia.  She has appeared with numerous additional orchestras, including the Long Beach Ballet Orchestra, the Napa Valley Symphony, and the San Luis Obispo Symphony.  Jacqueline has performed solo works for harp with the UCLA Symphony Orchestra, the Southern California Young Artist’s Symphony and at the Banff Music Festival.  Jacqueline received her B.A. in music from UCLA, and is currently pursuing a performance degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.  In addition to performing, Jacqueline is very involved in teaching.  She helped to form The Harp In Our Public Schools Project, which provides twice weekly harp lessons for elementary and middle school children in South Central Los Angeles. Jacqueline has served as harp coach on the faculty of YMF/Mastrovich-Adams National Youth Orchestra Camp and has been a guest lecturer for UCLA Extension and for the Gluck Foundation’s Music Outreach Program.
