Erica Solano is a versatile musician who has appeared on stages in Europe, Canada, and across the US. Born and raised in Los Angeles, her professional experience includes on-camera work with Grammy-nominee Aloe Blacc and performances with recording artists from around the world. As an active orchestral musician, she appears regularly with the Culver City Orchestra and is principal violist of the Huntington Beach Symphony. Ms. Solano’s live engagements include performances with Star Wars composer John Williams as well as Grammy-winners Earl Klugh and Michael Tilson Thomas. In addition to contracting musicians for special events, she collaborates regularly with the Inner City Youth Orchestra of LA (ICYOLA) as a musician-mentor.
As part of her involvement in music education and accessibility, Ms. Solano has given classroom presentations to students as part of the LA Chamber Orchestra’s “Meet the Music” program. This award-winning concert series aims at fostering knowledge and appreciation for art music, and is presented free of charge to 3,200 students each year in the LA Unified School District.
