As the former Production Manager at KUSC, I became aware of, and impressed by Maestro Scaglinone and the YMF. I currently work as a music educational consultant and am specifically looking for events for an elementary school in South Central LA. The school serves roughly 300 kids, in grades K-8. These kids are not exposed to any classical music. Does the YMF ever send representative groups (quartets, chamber groups) to perform at schools in the inner city?

This would be terrific outreach for kids to see others their own age performing. The kids are extremely well behaved and open to all kinds of music.

Please let me know if this would be a possibility in the next school year.

I had the privilege and pleasure of hearing the Missa Saturday. My one disappointment was in the program–the names of your fine instrumentalists were not listed. Do you have a document that you could attach with that information?

I would like especially to express my appreciation and admiration for your concert mistress. Never before have I understood that Beethoven wrote the Agnes Dei for not four but five solo voices. Her performance was remarkable. I thank her, and you.
