Charlotte Betry received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Flute Performance from California State University, Northridge. During her time at Cal State Northridge she had the opportunity to study under the tutelage of Sandy Kipp Iles and Heather Clark.
Ms. Betry is currently a member of the La Canada Presbyterian Orchestra, the African-American Orchestra of LA, Orange County Winds, and other various ensembles in the greater Los Angeles area. Charlotte has attended master classes with artists such as Carol Wincenc, Jim Walker, Cathy Karoly, and Anne Zentner to name a few. In August of 2014 and 2016, Ms. Betry was invited to participate at the National Flute Association’s annual convention with the Wyndfall Chamber and FluteSonic Orchestras. Charlotte does freelance work in Southern California where she also maintains a private flute studio. When not performing, she enjoys watching baseball, traveling, and playing with her pets!
